Direct Mobile Coaching as a Paradigm for the Creation of Mobile Feedback Systems

In sports feedback systems, digital systems perform tasks such as capturing, analysing and representing data. These not only aim to provide athletes coaches with insights into performances but also help learn new control movements, for example, prevent injuries. However, designing mobile requires a high level of expertise from researchers practitioners in many areas. As solution this problem, we present Direct Mobile Coaching (DMC) design paradigm model systems. Besides components provisioning, the consists data recording, storage management. For evaluation model, its features are compared against state-of-the-art frameworks. Furthermore, capabilities benchmarked using review literature. We conclude that DMC is capable modelling all 39 identified while other frameworks (MobileCoach, Garmin Connect IQ SDK, RADAR) could (at best) parts them. The presented paradigm/model applicable wide range equips valuable tool.
